Gaya

One is Brahmacapala in the Himalaya near Badrinath, just below Badrinath.

One is Haridwar, one is Varanasi, Banaras, Kashi, and the fourth is Gaya.

And many people consider that Gaya is the most important location, though I have performed Sharada at Gaya three times, and I will say that my experience is that the challenge with Gaya is that the priests there have performed their rituals accurately, and and assist the ancestors to let go of a lot of the desires that they had and therefore move on.

But it does not seem to me that the priests there know what to do with all of that karmic and astral baggage that is being deposited there.

So Gaiatomi has a very, very sticky kind of vibration to it, which is in extreme contrast to Bodh Gaya, where Lord Buddha was enlightened, which is a mere 10 or 15 kilometers away.

So, people will tell you, oh, you must go to Gaya, but Shraddha can be done anywhere.

Tarpana can be done anywhere.

It is, of course, good for everyone to do this, no matter who they are, but it's especially important when you have some kind of pitru dosha, which you can discover from Jyotish.

Several of the company, after bathing and worshiping in the temples, asked permission to return to Khetri, and the remainder of the party took the train for Gaya, the ancient center of Buddhism, now in ruins.

The celebrated Buddhist temple is the one thing of interest there.

Our stay was only of a few hours.

This was a problem that was deeply personal to me as well.

largely because of the way that i have also grown up in a sort of tier three town tier two town like i come from gaya in bihar right where bottled water was a luxury like we would only get bottled water where somebody as a key guest would come in otherwise by default was that you open the tap and you drink from that right so seeing that transition where today i can't have water without like sort of a bottled water being present is a great advantage.

And I know that it's also a problem of access for a lot of people, right? If you think about all the people who go to hospitals or who have these public health issues because of breaking water, all of them are people below the poverty line, right? So it's definitely about access to quality water.

That's a basic need.
