Gavin Sawchuk

He's kind of their biggest workhorse.

They got Gavin Sawchuk out of the portal this off-season, I believe from Oklahoma.

Uh, and I think MSU looked at him, uh, in the transfer portal for a time, and th- they're kind of their explosive guy.

Now, Florida State and Oklahoma, that's, that's who Sawchuk played for.

I know it, but first their running backs.

Caleb Komolafe, Joseph Hyman, and Gavin Sawchuk all average five-plus yards a carry, but let's talk about Aidan Chiles, who's doing great for Northwestern.

And good for him.

I have no animosity towards him.

Caleb Colma Offey is a running back that's a little bit more of your, you know, downhill everyday guy.

And then even Gavin Sawchuk is another guy that when the ball's in his hands, you feel like good things can happen.

Combine that with the offensive creativity of Chip Kelly and the ability to get guys in space and, and really put his guys in, in a position to be successful, that's really where the, you know, you, if you watch Northwestern on a day-to-day basis, that's what I keep going back to, is whatever play is called, it feels like the guy with the football has an opportunity in space.

And a- you know, I mean, we can nerd out on the X's and O's and football side of it, but ultimately, that's what it boils down to.

I think you still want people to say nice things about you.

So much of the build-up and excitement of this game was born out of what we have seen from this team the last three, three games.
