... of the doctors being like, "Oh, here's this bad news about your patient," which I think is so brave.

And it's sometimes uncomfortable, like you're just sitting there in silence, but that is the reality for these patients.

Like, they would just be getting the news of this horrible thing, and it's just like that deafening silence or the most, like the background hospital chaos or whatever.

But the music we use is really for the more propulsive, like, you know, surgery scenes.

And I do think that the showrunners had to like fight for that creative decision 'cause I, I remember writing a lot of music for some of the more emotional scenes, and I went really subtle.

Like, I went so subtle 'cause I know they didn't want score.

But, like, watching things very graphic and no longer responding in the same way that someone would've done 30 years ago.
