Who were, I can think of one, maybe two, who were you, looking back, who were your X-Factor dogs, mate, and what made them your X-Factor dogs?
32:24
Look, I had a really good dog when I first started off.
32:30
She was called Sally and she was a magnificent casting dog.
32:33
She was a true all-round dog.
32:35
Me not knowing a lot, she went out with me and got in plenty of Open Three Street finals, utility finals and Yard Dogs finals, but I never quite had control of her.
32:49
I was back in the older years, a long time ago, and then she had a dog called Tex who was a fair dinkum heading kelpie dog.
33:02
I was doing a few three-shape trials in those days, and he made six open finals in a row in three-shape trials.

39:56
You want to talk to us a bit about the interstate challenge and the thought process behind it? Because I love the concept.
18:22
Tell us about this Get Blue campaign and what it involves, what it
18:26
entails.
18:27
Well, Get Blue is about the two billion people that Matt mentioned that don't have access to safe water.
18:31
And it's about helping connect all of us to them.
18:34
And what we're trying to do is to engage people with brands that are spectacular, that are doing this with us, you know, Gap, Amazon, Starbucks, Ecolab.
18:44
And what they're doing is they're all creating different ways, different products that you can then purchase and And those blue products will then generate donations to water.org. And then we'll convert that into people getting safe water.
18:56
So imagine, you know, later this month, you'll be able to go into a Starbucks and get, you know, a blue matcha.
19:34
It's not like this is some intractable problem we can't solve.
6:53
[laughs] Gary, what was it that intrigued you about Matt?
6:56
Well, first his passion for this issue because he had actually worked to create a, a nonprofit called H2O Africa.
7:02
So I knew already that he had a, a passion for it.
7:05
And then when I met Matt, it was, I guess his, his curiosity and his digging and asking questions about the way that we were approaching this and trying to understand what was different about us and did it resonate with him.
7:20
I, I love to be peppered with questions about what we do, and I think I mostly answered them to Matt's satisfaction.
7:27
And, uh, and then that just led us to say, like, you know, we are strongly aligned.
7:32
You know, we are-- we both have this curiosity that's bent towards innovation.

You know, imagine the change in that kid's life.
10:12
How did you decide on microfinance, Gary?
10:14
Well, uh, for, for me, I think...
10:17
You know, I, I have engineering degrees.
10:18
I thought this was all gonna be just an engineering problem.
10:20
Of course, uh, it turns out it's much more about finance.
10:23
There's already a lot of money sloshing around in this system.
10:27
How do you redirect it in a way so that it works in favor of the poor? And for me, that was like, maybe the problem contains its own solution, because the conventional wisdom was that anybody that didn't have water in the world was too poor to pay for it, and they were all equally poor.
