But one of the things I said is that depending on whether your subject matter allows for it, like obviously if you're talking about some technical thing in electrical engineering, this doesn't apply.

But at the end, I was basically repeating something Gary North said, which is leave them with legitimate hope.

Like you can't just black pill, black pill, black pill, black pill and say, all right, see you later.

Go home.

That kind of thing would truly be a distraction.

If you'll allow me to zoom out, let me borrow a couple of terms from the late Gary North, and those terms are optimillennialist and pessimillennialist.

These terms do not refer to the time after the Second Coming because all Christians are optimistic in that final sense.

I'm talking about historical optimism, historical optimillennialism, and historical pessimism, historical pessimillennialism.
