We've all looked back on our past, witnessed our own behavior, and when thinking about it, have hardly been filled with pride about what we did and didn't do.

But what are the mechanics of that? Why do we do those things? And more importantly, what keeps it in place for years and years and years after? So that brings me to the subject of this week's episode with an email from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.
