Yee-haw! And between now and nine o'clock, we look forward to celebrating an accordion player who has dedicated more than five decades to performing worldwide on the box.

Just brilliant playing from Gordon Vitillo and his Ceilidh band from 2007 and that taken from the Reid Hall in Forfar and from his first time ever recording here in Take The Floor as a band leader as opposed to being a solo artist and in case you missed me telling you at the start of the show Joining Gordon on this debut band broadcast was Angela McEachern on fiddle, John Crawford on keys, Brian Crookjank on bass, Billy Tom on drums, Billy Young on guitar and banjo, with his son Fraser Petillo on small pipes and whistles.

Just magic.
