With that said, we should sing the praises of Gary Graham in this episode because he's terrific in it too.

So this week, my cookie is going to be Tyler Phillips, pitcher for the Miami Marlins.

He is a true Gary Graham lookalike.

While we're talking about, you know, those hockey romances, he's a Gary Graham lookalike from off campus.

But my new friend Jackie, she told me that she saw him at a game recently, and he went to toss a ball to her daughter.

The first ball that he threw to her, it got caught by other kids.

Had you seen it before? No, I hadn't.

So, Gary Graham had passed away quite recently.

And I was essentially writing his kind of obituary sort of article for Screen Rant.

And one of the notes was, oh, could you just, you know, put in a mention for his fan films? So writing it, did a bit of research into his fan films.

I was like, wait, what? There was a Star Trek fan film that wasn't until recently available on YouTube called Star Trek of Gods and Men.

And it had Gary Graham in it alongside Walter Koenig.

uh nichelle nichols alan ruck i mean like for a sec can we just take for a moment here to just alan ruck has been in one of the greatest sort of coming of age movies of all time ferris bueller's day off and he's been in one of hbo's biggest drama series you know of the past decade succession
