Gary Con

And that's one of the reasons why I've been trying to go to some more smaller, local-y kind of cons.

They're not going to, even though as much as I love Gary Con and Gen Con's something, you know, it's like I'm not going there every year because I want to hit a bunch of these, you know.

Something that's within, you know, half a day's drive from my house, you know, or a little bit longer, like even Pulp Fest, you know, is like close enough that it feels somewhat local for me, you know.

But there's Arcane Con is coming up.

It's just creatively, you're putting yourself in the situation and think what you can do to solve a problem.

I remember, um, Sam, we talk about this a lot, the game we played at Gary Con in 2025 with Matt Finch.

[laughs] There was this one player.

Do you remember Matt, Matt Finch said we could have any mundane items, you know, from town? And this guy brought, like, a bag full of large snails or something.

Yeah, I didn't actually work at TSR ever as an employee, but I did a boatload of freelancing for them over the years.

So they do a TSR reunion at Gary Con every Saturday night at Gary Con.

And they're always like, you could come on in, crash the joint.

And I'm like, OK, did you say free beer? OK, I'll be right there.
