We're like, when you see a team sign five Exhibit 9 contracts in a day, usually you're going to look the other way and just be like, not super important.

Well, the Knicks did that last year with Malcolm Brogdon and Garrison Matthews and Landry Shamit.

And I think they did it with Landry Shamit in 24 as well.

And that's when they did that really clever maneuver where Landry Shamit got hurt and they used the first pick in the G League draft to keep him in their system.

It's just simply like not the same team as far as just sort of evaluating who the Pacers are.

Um, you know, like you look at who played some of those games and it's like Garrison Matthews and, you know, uh, you know, the starting games for that team, Jeremiah Robinson or all the starting games from that team.

Like, you know, so many of those guys that, um, you know, formed last season, you know, were there for 10 days or two weeks or, you know, a month or somewhere along those lines.

It's just, you know, it was just very anomalous, you know, that way you just kind of have to like throw that season out almost entirely.

The third center position very likely will be the Knicks' last guard spot they were looking for last year with Garrison Matthews and Landry Shammott and Malcolm Brogdon.

This is likely what the third center position is going to be this year.

So you've got to look for some guys that might be willing to Last chance, Tony Bradley, your boy, might be last chance too, right? Like last chance center spot, this is kind of what it is.

And, you know, people, better specifically, I think some think that it was just because Halliburton was hurt, as we've already said.

And, you know, like to make a Cavs example, they played in Cleveland in November and Garrison Matthews started.

It was like his second day with the team or something like that right like you know that they had nothing going they started 2 and 13 and like they you know they they were they went to overtime with OKC and opening night like they were they were a good operation when healthy last year that just happened like never right of their top nine from their finals year of course right so of course they don't have Tyrese Albert and they don't have Miles Turner so the most they can have is seven of those nine Danny how many times you think they had all seven available for a game last year

So Robbie, let's start off the show with some great news about a former Atlanta Hawk that's very close to your heart.

Armani Olimpia Milan have signed Garrison Matthews.

The Italian powerhouse announced that it has reached a one-on-one contractual agreement with the 29-year-old who arrives from the Indiana Pacers after spending the past seven seasons in the NBA The 1.96 meter guard brings 329 games of NBA experience to Milan and has built his reputation primalar- primarily around his perimeter shooting.

There's a quote from Garrison here as well, Robbie.

"I'm thrilled to begin a new chapter in my career, and I deeply appreciate the opportunity that Olimpia Milano and its coaching staff have decided to offer me," Matthews said in the club's announcement.

"I'm eager to, to get to work and help the team in any way I can." So Robbie, I thought I might ask you, I mean, this is a great opportunity for Garrison Matthews, but if we have seen the last of him in, in the NBA, how will he be remembered?
