Garret Anderson

this to pass by.

Garrett Anderson.

Now, not with us anymore.

But this, I want to share with you because there's a badge that he signed for me years ago.

There was a good Darren Erstad season.

Yeah, Garrett Anderson.

A lot of good players having good seasons.

Who was their best pitcher? Jared Washburn.

I think it was 11 to one.

Garrett Anderson was

awesome.

Gary Anderson did something awesome.

The sign's 80 years old.

First game I went to, 12-0 Angels win, July 7, 2004.

Garrett Anderson had four RBIs.

No, four total bases.

His similarity score is in the big leagues.

Steve Garvey, Garrett Anderson, Bill Buckner, Mark Grace, Veda Pinson, Dave Parker, Roberto Clemente, Zach Wheat, and Ducky Medwick.

Okay, that's good company.

Yeah, this guy had a really long and really good career.

Right.

They had like Garrett Anderson and like Guerrero and, was like guys that were like the obvious like firepower but like anyone in the lineup could do damage at any point and that was what was i think for other teams like like the giants saw you know too like in that series it was like and you can have a barry bonds but like the angels just can like any one of the guys even these like little like that uh was it sean figgins oh yeah super compact like kind of like i mean you look at his stats he's actually impressive but like he was just under the radar yeah just the utility guy yeah you're like dude any anyone like all the eight nine hitters were like oftentimes the guys to like get the spark going and then the top of the order would come back around and a lot of similarities in the way that Tampa kind of, yeah.

Simpson is that for

the raise? 100% Chandler Simpson.

Did you know, this is totally unrelated to everything in the whole world except I just said Francisco Rodriguez's name.

Did you know that Francisco Rodriguez's daughter and Garrett Anderson's son are married to each other and expecting their first child?

Huh.

I did not know that.

I w- I drove down there and I was like, "Oh my g- what am I getting something myself into here? I- I don't even know anything..." I- I knew three guys on the team by name, obviously.

I knew Darren Erstad, Garret Anderson, and Tim Salmon.

Those are the only three household names I kinda knew.

But I knew nothing about the organization.

But Orioles fans have known this about their favorite son for a long, long time.

Last night was magical as Ripken and Garrett stood together at 21-30.

Even the new Ironman was emotional.

then followed a script that would never even be authored in Hollywood.

J.T.

Snow at first base.

Rookie of the Year candidate Garrett Anderson is in left field.

Former Oriole Rex Hudler at second base.
