Garment District

There's a little sitting park there now.

It's in the Garment District.

He built a building there for the Fitz Dry Goods Company.

And people call it the Chanute Building, but he built it to their specifications and then rented it to them.

But barbecued all his life up to that time on steamboats up and down the Mississippi River and helped his family with barbecues in the neighborhood and in the city.

And he started selling barbecue off of a push cart.

At 8th and Ann, which is the garment district.

Ann is about a block west of Broadway.
