But why them and why Northam?

Yeah, I think with Bunbury, we've got a relationship with them now that goes back, I think this is the fourth year off the top of my head that we've been down there consecutively.

So the council has been very proactive in terms of, as you said, they're doing everything they can to bring as many sporting events to Bunbury.

as possible we formed a very close relationship with them they were very enthusiastic to get us down there again this year and then northern um was a was a new one actually i mean we developed a bit of a relationship with northern springfield fc out there we've had players go out a couple of times and again the shire of northern uh was super keen you know to have the event out there they've uh been very very helpful very proactive in getting things organized so Yeah, I mean, there's talk, you know, there's been talk of other possible venues in coming years as well.

I'd certainly be keen to take us up north.

We haven't been, you know, we haven't been up north for some time as a club, Kalgoorlie, you know, that kind of direction.

So that might be on the agenda in the next couple of years.

There's more signings that have been made recently.

But I'm curious if you kind of take us back a little bit about, you know, what was really going on there and how did we end up in that particular moment in Cape Town?

So Cape Town is no stranger to drought events.

They are part of our city region and they come around every few years.

We have very good meteorological services and so we have excellent weather data going back probably close on 150 years for the region.

That particular period of 2015, 2016, 2017 were the three lowest consecutive years of rainfall since the records began.

And so it truly was at the very edge of the system.

And in fact, the climate scientists who have modeled it and attempted to create various attributions have modeled it as a one in 300 year event.

What's your view on AI? How is the city using it? And how does that increase livability and prosperity for citizens in Cape Town?

Okay.

So we'll have another two.

I think it'll be four all together, but certainly it would be, it would be getting up there.

I don't think, yeah, I'm, I don't think Alex Apakis did.

I think he did three off the top of my head.

But, um, yeah, no, it's been an absolute pleasure working with Stephen Peters.

He's, uh, yeah, he's, he's absolutely great, uh, as a, as a colleague there at the club and you can see some progress I think with the women.

Uh, and what about w- what's happening with the, the grounds and Wattle Reserve there, and where the teams are training and, and playing?

Next year could be the end for Gianni in his role.

I think he's up for re-election in March, as far as I'm aware.

He's been 11 years at the helm, which seems remarkable, because I remember the huge outcry about Sepp Blatter, who was eventually forced to step down over corruption charges.

And I think it was kind of hailed as the end of that sort of era.

It's a bright new future ahead for FIFA under Blatter.

Infantino and you know sadly you know here we are again with all sorts of different controversies there was obviously the one at the World Cup with the suspension that allegedly got overturned and I think the latest one is that the country of Jordan a few mean because they haven't received their prize money for getting to the FIFA Arab Cup final and there was a suggestion that if they endorsed Infantino publicly, that that money would be forthcoming.

Yeah, the NPL season coming to a close very soon.

Mm.

I mean, our CEO, Tom Brooke, and I, we sort of joked about it for a year and a half or so about the number.

I've actually stopped tracking the number now.

It's not important that the, you know, the next, the next career to one-to-one is as important as the first one we did.

So, you know, w- but we are into the several hundred, uh, of those I've done since I've been in this role, and we introduced it.

Um, and I think, uh, you get somebody on these calls that you, you try and map out, you know, where do you want to be in 10 years' time? 'Cause it's about their career.

And then what you...

Let us know how you came to the horror space, what got you into the horror movies in the first place, and what you're working on now.

Well, first off, thank you for having me.

It is a pleasure to be here.

I will...

God, 2017, it's been almost 10 years.

I just started the Slasher Trash page on Facebook, because obviously I've always been into horror and stuff, but I've always veered more towards slashes.

And I decided about 10 years ago, I was like, I want to watch... every single slasher.

But do you guys get into that with your documentary? What is it about the subgenre that drives this proliferation?

Doesn't mean anything.

I mean, I don't think he...

I really don't think he has to worry.

Um, if Opportunity's gonna stay true to the principles on which it was formed, it won't actually be seeking a position in the coalition.

It'll remain strongly non-aligned on the crossbenches, and it will support each policy only on its merits.

So that sort of saves it from having to swallow rats that collective cabinet responsibility requires, and it also means it won't have the risk of losing its identity as a rational political f- force.

You know, Ryan, if you compare that to what's happened to the other minors, New Zealand First Act, they're just puppies of National, aren't they? Greens is just a puppy of, um, Labor.

The irony of all of this, of course, is that on current polling, the coalition won't need her.

How important do you think the new age social media aspect is in bringing new fans through the gates?

Yeah, I think it can be a force for good and bad because obviously it gives everyone a platform and that can be a massive positive.

You get to see people all levels of football, which is absolutely fantastic.

And it's sort of a gateway for people to realise that there is some great football that they can go and watch on their doorstep.

But also, as I mentioned a moment or two ago, it does unfortunately give a platform to those people that seem to want to run the game down in Australia, whatever level that might be.

And that is unfortunate.

But yeah, I would just urge people to try and sort of avoid the doom mongers if they possibly can.

And lastly, Gareth, before I do let you go, when people are talking about the Perth glory at season's end, what do you hope they're saying about the club? I
