do you have like a time because let's say if you want to book flights you have to do it on monday or tuesday morning put on your vpn whatever is there a certain time in a moment that's perfect for you to send tracks to certain people

um i'll just do it maybe like see if i've got a release coming out i'm not looking to get a track signed i just want some dj players for example yeah i'll do it maybe a month before but i'll send it over a period of like a couple of weeks i'll just do a like i'll get like a list of djs that i want to send it to and i'll break it up and send it at different periods um and then just so you can see if you get any consistent downloads or players you know um but for me it's like finding the djs that you want your music to be played by making sure it's the right sound for them as well you don't want to send someone a track that is not going to be any relevance to their set so do a bit of research as well and listen to some of the styles like for example i've got tracks that i maybe wouldn't send uber rest or someone or pagasi or whatever but i would send maybe like gareth emery or arman you know to play instead um so it's just about like finding the right sound that you want to send to that dj um but obviously you don't want to send something that they're definitely not going to play because you're less likely to get a play against like well he's just sending me stuff that i'm never going to play so what's the point

so what what if let's say you didn't send a track to pagosi for example but he still sends you a message like later hey why didn't you send it to me did it ever happen

um i had a message from who was it i think it was it was actually bengal lawton so it was a track that got released and he was like what he's like i love this track why haven't you sent us it already um But yeah, I do try and send a lot of stuff to the right people, but I feel like that's the best way to build a connection, a relationship, because if they like the track, the message, you've been like, oh, this is sick, then you know you can send that similar kind of sound, you know? Because you want to get it right, you don't want to send something that is just completely off-piste, and then they're not going to respond to you again, because then you've sort of burnt that bridge already.
