Then there's a chapter called tweens and teens, because when you're a teenager, you need to think about meningococcal illness and also protecting you against cervical cancer or throat cancer caused by human papillomavirus.

And the vaccine to do that is called Gardasil.

Then there's for general audiences.

That's you and I.

Like more and more.

I was reading recently about Gardasil.

You know the HPV vaccine.

And I was reading like.

I feel like you always hear about kids getting it, right? Like, not HPV, but the shot.

But you hear about kids getting the vaccine.

And I was like, do they have to be children? And so I looked it up, and it's like, you can get Gardasil, and it could be effective up until your...

well into your 40s if not later essentially menopausal right um and then but a lot of doctors do not they'll say once you're 32 don't do it for no reason the reason is that they're assuming that if you're 32 you've already been exposed we didn't didn't have the shot you've already been exposed to hpv which is not necessarily true for a variety of reasons luck of the draw using protection maybe you were you never had sex with a man before you know what I mean like that sort of thing

It is not a prophylactic vaccine.

And I just wanna make that distinction because the, the vaccine, like for example Gardasil, you give to the entire population of adolescents, and what you want is prevent occurrence of HPV, which then leads to cancer, right? In our case, we're not going to everybody.

We're going to this focus group of people who have genetic marker, and we treat them by inducing their immune system in a way that it's going to basically reduce the frequency of those direct cancer incidences.

So the-- what I can say today is that this is really an oncology product, right? And when we think about pricing, that's the frame that we have rather than an infectious disease product, like for example, Gardasil.

Okay.

Great.

And I wanted answers, not just on autism, because after the screening, people were coming up and saying, my child doesn't have autism.

My child died after a Gardasil vaccine or my baby's been paralyzed ever since they got DTaP vaccine or, you know, on and on and on.

Every vaccine was being implicated.

And so I wanted to know, We hear vaccines are safe and effective.

Are there any current vaccines for

cancer? Any kind of cancer? Well, there's Gardasil for cervical cancer.

That blocks the virus.

But is there an actual...

This is a preventative vaccine, right? This is a preventative

vaccine.

I don't believe there has been one yet that has actually been FDA approved, right? Yet in terms of like a direct treatment for cancer, not just like preventing the virus that causes the cancer like Gardasil.
