Um, it is, and this is the reaction that I'm, you know, hearing from a lot of people.

It is, uh, the story of the actor, Ian Charlson, who, uh, had been in, uh, movies like chariots of fire and Gandhi chariots of fire being the sort of like the movie he's best known for and sort of is plagued by that notion.

Um, through a lot of this movie, um, uh, he the movie um follows the period in which he is uh starring he takes over for daniel day lewis in a national theater production of hamlet um while he is um in the throes of uh aids he has uh progressed from hiv to aids as the movie is beginning and this is in the uh mid 1980s right early to mid 1980s um Late.
