Gamma World

I think that's one of the strange things about it, though, actually.

It's not like you're playing rabbit men in Gamma World or something like that.

You are literally playing rabbits.

Intelligent rabbits.

It's, um, it's so true.

I, I, I, I can I tell you on every Sunday my neighbor plays Gamma World in his basement, and I always just stand outside like just like looking in longingly.

And, and, and we were-

That to me feels like more like a mothership adventure without, like, all of the social deduction stuff.

So that's like, that's sort of like where my focus ended up being, was just like, "Oh, that's like, that's like kind of a cool..." Like, I mean, I, I generally like the like, oh, it's a, it's a lab and it was overgrown, and then we've got, like, the survivors of something are, like, living out here.

Like, that's very sort of Gamma World, sort of Metamorphosis Alpha, like that sort of zone.

Um, yeah.

Yeah, I got quite excited here because the Truken are not specifically...

Unique to the setting, I believe they're probably from Gamma World originally.

Certainly they do appear in Caves of Kud.

And I wonder if a lot of the success of Bots of Arn is because the kind of Gamma World market is quite underserved.

I was going through and just looking at what other post-apocalyptic games or post-apocalyptic games out there are there.

And it occurred to me that we have to probably have a conversation at some point whether we're going to cover apocalypse world or not because apocalypse world is post-apocalyptic and ostensibly science fiction.

I feel like a lot of the mutations as well.

If I did have a criticism, I think I've seen a lot of these crop up in games before.
