Yes, that was, as with everything, three magazines.

Yeah, so Metal Gear Solid, the original, I hadn't finished at this point.

A friend across the road had it.

But I didn't have a PS1.

So Christmas 2001, I get a PS2.

And as soon as I get a PS2, I start buying all the magazines that talk about PS2 games, plug myself into it, and then realise that... mgs2 is the most you know hotly anticipated uh thing um and it's you know obviously like it's massive graphical upgrade from what the original game was a lot of intrigue around its story um yeah huge amounts of hype i had a Little mate down the road called Donald who had the PSM2 VHS tape of the Metal Gear Solid trailers.

Maybe it just had one trailer on it.

Official PlayStation Magazine, or Edge, or PSM3, or GamesMaster, or whatever it was.

Uh, and I loved those magazines.

Um, but never really, for whatever reason, thought it would be something that I could ever do or pursue.
