I think this book does some original work in linking financialization to games and gamification in ways that I think are only being discovered now.
Max HaivenGUEST

So I think that, from a scholarly perspective, feels satisfying.

And I want to talk about the map.
Sam SorensenHOST
28:59
And I have a Game Studies reference, but I first just want to talk about the map of Black Worm because the map does something that used to be pretty common, but it's quite uncommon now, which is that instead of having hexes or squares or whatever kind of sort of like tiles or whatever, instead, the map just has a thing in the corner that says scale one inch equals one half mile.
Sam SorensenHOST
29:28
And so the way that you would run this adventure is you'd print out this piece of paper, and you would get your ruler out, and you would just arrange it such that, you know, every two inches is a mile.
Sam SorensenHOST
29:39
And now you can measure distances with your ruler.
