And, you know, everything that you've just explained there from that pathway from sort of colonisation, diminishing and reducing people's, I suppose, previously positive attitude to a really positive, useful food source you know up to present times I think that does really again hammers home to me the importance of food and and as a vehicle for looking back at our social history because It's all of the things that we ordinarily talk about in Irish history from colonisation to the famine to the Gaelic revival are there playing out in the in the history of one food.

You touched a little bit on the Gaelic revival and how we had this period in Ireland in the late 19th century where I suppose into the abyss that the famine had left behind, there was this desire to rekindle and reclaim sort of a sense of Irish heritage and tradition and It was all about a revival of language and art and history and myth and music and dance and all of these things.
