um and very often so when you're reading the news it's it's all autocue it's something that's scripted producers go and edit it and we read sort of the finished article if you like occasionally when breaking news comes in um the scripts aren't done in time so you have to talk over live pictures that are being streamed in and keeping across what's called the wires so the wires are like your news agencies where breaking stories are so you'd have to be on a computer you see sometimes newsreaders are on a computer or you know they've got those pieces of paper that they And it's news that's literally just broken that comes in.

And there was an occasion where... terrible very rare occurrence had happened where the Sri Lankan cricket team were in Pakistan in Lahore about to go into the Gaddafi stadium to play one of the test matches and they were ambushed by like masked men with guns and everything shots fired and all of a sudden all the scripts disappeared and these pictures were just sort of flashed up on the on the screen and And in my ear, all I heard was, can you just talk over these live pitches and who is it getting off the coach and all of this thing? And they were all Sri Lankan cricketers.
