I found that its version of the story is, I don't know, so probably that's why I talk to specialists.

Everyone knows the story of, of the fallen angels in the Enochic literature.

I don't know if I need to re-explain that to people listening to this podcast.

Do I need to re-explain it, Ari? [laughs]

It kind of moves on to the wickedness of the land in the time of Noah.

And in Enochic literature, the giants, the presence of giants is a bad thing.

The idea of the angels who are commingling with, with humans is a bad thing.

The giants are cannibalistic monsters that ravage the human race.

Or excuse me, it's in Luke chapter 1 and in verse 26.

It says, And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee named Nazareth.

And this is where Gabriel made the proposal to Mary and that she accepted.

But it was in the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy.

So if you add the six months of Elizabeth's pregnancy and the nine months of Mary's pregnancy, 15 months to this exact date that the Dead Sea Scrolls say the course of Abiah ministered in the temple, guess what date that comes out to? It comes out exactly to December the 25th.

In verse 18, it says, "And Zacharias, and said unto the angel, 'Whereby shall I know this? For I am o- an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.'" This is just old English for saying that they were beyond childbearing years, and so it was impossible in the natural, and he's just expressing his doubt.

And look at this in verse 19.

"The angel answered and said unto him, 'I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings.'" In other words, it sounds to me, I don't think that angels get mad or in the flesh or anything like this, but it sounds like he was basically saying, "You don't know who I am.

Last week we celebrated the birth of Mary.

September 8th, and now, well, about eight days later, we celebrate her name, because it was a practice among the Jews that they would impose a name on the child eight days after the birth, because the angel Gabriel had come in to Mary and pronounced that name, Hail Mary, full of grace.

imposing a name.

This is also what Our Lady was asked to do.

And, well, I could have come back to that, I suppose, but the reason for this custom is, and the reason for the holy, the power of the holy name of Mary is because precisely of that unique bond between mother and son.

There's a bond there.

And, of course, because of the power of that name that was pronounced by Gabriel, the archangel, who was announcing the coming of the redemption through her, not through some generic way, any old woman, not a generic person, but She was very special, like you could say, even before she was born.

God had thought about her, and she was immaculately conceived, right, in the womb of her mother, Anna.

And you know, Brother Samad, what was very interesting and what comes, uh, uh, one of the, one of the, um, um, um, you know, hadith of the Prophet, peace be upon him, when we're told about the munafiq in Medina.

Now, here the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is the leader, has the power, has the authority, okay? And these people deserve to be executed because they are siding with the enemy to attack the Muslims whilst living with the Muslims, right? And Jibril Alaihi Salaam, the angel Gabriel, gives the list of the, I think, is it 72 or something that were, um, uh, there was, uh, a quite a few, uh, uh, uh, you know, hypocrites.

But what did the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam do? He said, uh, you know, um, when he was asked, "Let's, let's kill them.

Let's execute them," because, you know, if Allah's told you about this, there's no, uh, [laughs] there's no doubt in the matter.

Now the interesting thing, why are we talking about this? It's because of the phrase, Al-Quds.

Why is the angel Gabriel titled because he is purified, purified from faults that people have attributed to him throughout history, right? All right.

We'll conclude, inshallah, with this segment, which is living with the name.

Remember, , we now have a good understanding of the name of Quddus, now we wanna live by it.

Hail Mary.

The angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David.

And the virgin's name was Mary.

And the angel, being come in, said unto her, Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women.

Saint Luke one, twenty-six through twenty-eight.

First prelude, Gabriel saying the first Hail Mary.

Second prelude, grace to say my Hail Marys well.

Oh, but wait, there's more.

One night, she meets the angel Gabriel, who tells her in the Gospel of Luke, "Greetings, favored one.

The Lord is with you." So now her life is un- upended not only by being pregnant before she was married, but she would become the mother of the salvation of the nations.

Was she scared by the change? You better believe she was.

The first joyful mystery, the Annunciation.

In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
