I think based on watching the behind-the-scenes making of Gabriel Knight, I think he liked doing adventure games because it was a lot of voice acting.

It was very character-driven.

Gabriel Knight's Sins of the Fathers came out in 93.

It had Tim Curry, Leah Remini, and Mark Hamill, just to name a few.

But that's not all.

He was amazing in Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, and in Gabriel Knight, and in Wing Commander 3, and in Dragon Age Origins 3.

And lots more.

You're bound to have played a game with Tim Curry in it, and despite his sad passing, he will live forever in those.
