Gabriel Hamer-Webb

I think Alex Mitchell started it off.

Henry Pollock was having a nice little cuddle with Gabe Hamer-Webb on the side, and then I think they spotted Pollock and thought, well, let's just get him involved because the newspapers love it.

and it gave them a chance to you know did you see the comments that the Leicester Tigers match report had saying a child in Saints kit caused a 30 man

scuttle I did see that loved

Rhys Sammet, Homer Webb.

Rhys Sammet, Hamer Webb and...

Oh no, he went back as well.

I'm sure Debris still have one.

That's fair enough in terms of the refereeing thing.

Also, true enough, in terms of the players that Leicester have got on the outside, Gabriel Hamer-Webb is playing absolutely brilliantly this season.

We were talking about him as a third choice at the end of last season, but a very, very good third choice.

I think he's gone past both Radwan and Hassel-Collins for the moment.

Recalls for Rio Dias, Seb Davis, Tame Basham.

Gabriel Hamer-Webb is back in.

Omissions, Max Page, Talupe Faletao, Elliot Dee, Tommy Rethel and Ben Thomas injured.

But you go back, right, four years ago, autumn 2022, Gatland in charge then.

They were moving the ball quite...

Well, wide, weren't they? And guys like Hassel Collins, Hamer Webb, Radwan were bagging a lot of tries, but sort of the traditional heart of Leicester still remains of the sort of scrum and the mall and the value of defence and things like that, whereas...

certainly in the modern era it wasn't necessarily the same in the 2010s maybe when Saints won their first prime title but nowadays they are the most fantastic attacking team the fastest team in the in the East Midlands aren't they and basically everywhere else yeah in English rugby and it's also fascinating because you've got key protagonists who are England regulars on both sides there was Niggle with

A bit of silliness

Could be a hell of a match.

I suspect you'll have the likes of Radwan and Hamer Webb.

Freddie Stewart started the season really well.

Freddie Sell looks good.

And Aaron Wainwright.

Then, hopefully we'll speak to the other Welshman here at Leicester Tigers, that's, uh, Gabriel Hamer-Webb.

Should be interesting, should be fascinating, especially how well they are performing, each player.

The Wales squad announcement is next week, and just to get an idea of what life is like outside of that dreaded Welsh rugby goldfish bowl.

But Orlando Bailey was the year below me at school.

Gabe Hamer-Webb was my year at school.

Were you part of the Tigers Academy set-up? Were you trying to kick on with your rugby or was it always just a place of fun for you?

Yeah, no.
