Gabe Rotter

When The X-Files returned for a 10th season in 2016, it was for a six-episode run, but there was almost a seventh episode.

It was written by Brad Fulmer and Gabe Rotter, and Rotter described it as a nature-based monster of the week episode.

And that was all I knew about the episode until 2024 when a copy of the script from Chris Carter's personal collection was auctioned at the Scully Coffee for Neurofibromatosis fundraiser.

And now the 54-page script lives on the Internet Archive.

All of them.

Um, Zach, Jamie, Jamie, Dana, Spencer, Daniel Pearl, Gabe Rotter, Dallas Smith, Duncan Milchick, Claire Danes.

Fans were upset because Matthew seemingly forgot to include a shout-out for his partner, Keri Russell.

But Keri sets the record straight on Chelsea Handler's Dear Chelsea podcast.
