Jared AlbrechtHOST
3:58
So is a play set like big or small? I, you know what? I was, I was thinking about how I wanted to define that.
Jared AlbrechtHOST
4:04
I'm going to say it's anything that's not a vehicle.
Jared AlbrechtHOST
4:08
So like, if you want to talk about the little Cobra, there's a GI Joe tower, like a Cobra bunker, right.
Colin BettsGUEST
8:42
And in Canada, we didn't have, it wasn't like the UK or Brazil or Argentina where there are all kinds of weird variants.
Colin BettsGUEST
8:50
The only difference we got really was we got individual stickers for the GI Joe vehicle.
Colin BettsGUEST

There's little write-ups where they go, this year's going to be big for turtles, fresh from the sewer.
FrankHOST
20:58
Those are all the marketing spiel that goes along with it as well.
Colin BettsGUEST
21:02
look for look for the advertising in the comic books and on television and here's some display models that you're going to get um gi joe's a good example so whereas you would get a little you know eight and a half by eleven or an eight and a half by fourteen piece of folded paper in with your your tank um the first two pages is just the it's just the figures and there will be 12 to 16 to 20 pages of pictures of just gi joe and then they move on to transformers and then they move on to the next thing um you know uh the mattel 1987 catalog is a hundred and 191 pages
BenHOST
21:44
wow so just looking at the difference that you said that the um the first ones came out with a glued binder and the other ones came out with a spiral i like that and this could be difference between companies but the spiral one from playmates it's actually got little tabs so if i want to go to ninja turtles or exo squad i can just flick right straight to the that tab and just pull the whole page apart the whole book

Kyle PetersonHOST
19:32
I'm here for that.
Kyle PetersonHOST
19:33
GI Joe this week, a big week here on the channel with the brand new Snowcat HasLab, which is really the Flint HasLab with bonus Snowcat, as we do know.
Kyle PetersonHOST
19:41
But we did see the Thunder Machine.
Kyle PetersonHOST
19:43
It is up for order.
Kevin DecentHOST
7:01
And 3.30, She-Ra was on.
Kevin DecentHOST
7:05
And then I think G.I. Joe was at, like, 4.
Kevin DecentHOST
7:09
So I would have watched all of the He-Man episodes over the years.
Kevin DecentHOST
7:13
Because it was on for quite a few years.
Kevin DecentHOST
9:19
I was getting lots of Star Wars toys until...
Kevin DecentHOST
9:22
They weren't really making them for a while.
Kevin DecentHOST
9:25
G.I. Joe was probably the number one toy for my brother and I.
Kevin DecentHOST
9:31
We had so many G.I. Joes and vehicles and bases and everything for it.
AndyHOST
2:08
I think he's got a shirt on in the picture.
Ryan BonaviaHOST
2:10
So this is the infamous GI Joe tackle box.
Ryan BonaviaHOST
2:13
Yep.
Ryan BonaviaHOST
2:14
Oh, yeah.
Ryan BonaviaHOST
3:12
He's stubborn, ornery, mean-tempered, bad-humored, and uncouth.
Ryan BonaviaHOST
3:20
Has he got any good points? Well, he's on our side.
TravisHOST
3:23
So he's G.I. Joe's dreadnought.
AndyHOST
3:25
He can't do much except work.
Greg EngelHOST
12:47
So all you got to do is do better than that.
Greg EngelHOST

Greg EngelHOST

I bought four more graded books from him and these were about $40 a piece, but they're in slightly, some of them are slightly higher than others.
Greg EngelHOST
27:28
So this is, that's just the average.
Greg EngelHOST
27:31
The other four books I got were GI Joe number 12, which is a newsstand.
Greg EngelHOST
27:39
Here's a GI Joe number eight, which is an 8.0 and is also a new stand.
TravisHOST
24:15
Like that giant Yakuza kick, big boot, like I – sign me up.
TravisHOST
24:22
I may do that just to like Yakuza kick Flint because Flint is not the leader of GI Joe and Chono would be Duke's hired muscle.
BrianHOST
24:37
Exactly.
BrianHOST
24:39
Now that'd be cool.
Dan LarsonHOST
54:44
You know what? As a kid, I think I would have said art because it was really G.I.
Dan LarsonHOST
54:47
Joe that I looked at the most, and G.I. Joe was card art.
Jay GlatfelterHOST
54:50
Yeah.

Jay GlatfelterHOST
67:23
Quite a few times, like where post-G.I. Joe, if it doesn't, you know, improve on the articulation, the toy is dead to you.
Jay GlatfelterHOST
67:32
Absolutely.
MikeHOST
64:27
Then I found the...
MikeHOST
64:29
From the G.I. Joe Ninja Turtles crossover, I found Rocksteady.
MikeHOST
64:32
I still need to get Bebop.
MikeHOST
64:34
But holy shit, Rocksteady is fucking awesome.
MikeHOST
66:51
But yeah, overall, I'm not going to be buying... classified figures the now I do want to get Night Viper because I kept saying if I got one I'd want the other
Count CreepyheadHOST
67:00
yeah
MikeHOST
67:00
because I've told you guys before the the day that I got Night Viper as a kid we were watching like we had a family movie night and we were watching Return of the Living Dead and I was playing with my GI Joes and Night Viper was trying to survive a zombie invasion I just had other GI Joes attacking him that were zombified so now I'm like well now I gotta get Night Viper to go with the weird zombie guy
Count CreepyheadHOST
67:22
