i was i am a futurist i i would consider myself a futurist that hey the future is going to be better than we can even imagine i i personally think right now is the best time to be a human we always fantasize of like oh maybe the 80s would have been cool the 70s you know 1800s whatever victorian age whatever whatever is your favorite time in history you know the samurai whatever it is but i think currently like this is the best time to be a human and further i think i was born for this moment like literally and figuratively born to be a human in this very moment i would even maybe go so far as say like i chose this moment to be a human um but i do believe in the idea of the future is going to be better i'm i'm not one of these people that has this very defeatist uh negative perception of the future you know a lot of people have the view like no the the world's just going to you know like simulation is coming.

Everything's going to get worse until we all are just in the black void.

Later, at South Gates, I saw an early-designed old yacht tumbling at its leisure to pieces in a dilapidated boat shed.

It is the same elsewhere, notably at Holton, where, in particular, an ancient hulk of a houseboat leans helplessly against a wall at the rear of the Commodore, whose complexity of designs cover several periods of architecture, probably Egyptian, Ionian, early English, and Futurist.

It still grows uglier in its retirement and decay.

Yet, as a rule, these huddles of pensioned craft are traps with which to catch an artist's eye.
