Futebol de Salão

So what happened to make Brazil good? They became addicted to this strange little game.

It's called Futebol de Salão, soccer in the room.

And it resembles soccer if you fed soccer amphetamines and shoved it in a phone booth.

Like, it's intensely fast.

The ball's small, difficult to control.

So the vision that creates, the pressure that creates, it puts people into that zone of development, into that Clarissa spot.

Brazil is uniquely addicted to Futebol de Salão.

There were, until about two thousand and nine, I think there were thirty-nine international championships, and Brazil had won thirty-eight of them.
