Fuquay-Varina

And our local small business success story this week is Peter Rashawn, owner of Rashawn Planning.

He is a member of Excellence in Fuquay.

They meet Thursdays at 8.45 a.m. at the Gathering Community Church in Fuquay.

Peter is the current mentor coordinator.

He is the former president of the chapter.

We're behind the Biscuitville and Fuquay Verena is the headquarters, 600 Stellata Drive.

Uh, it, it depends on, it depends on the deal.

I mean, I've got, uh, a listing in, in, in Fuquay that's four and a half acres and we'll sell farms that are 300 acres and up.

It just, I mean, those are the ones we like to work on, but those are the harder ones to find.

Um, and so it, there's no, it, there's nothing, again, it's nothing too small and there's certainly nothing that's too big.

Just a few high puffy fair weather cumulus clouds.

Working through numbers from across the region, 74 out your door in Wake Forest, 76 Holly Springs, Paris Sevens down in Fuquay, 78 Willow Springs, 74 Lewisburg, 78 Rocky Mount, 78 Irwin Fayetteville and almost 80 degrees down in Lumberton.

Tonight, we'll see those numbers going from the 70s into the 50s and 40s.

Normal is 45.

Jeez, get my words right.

Beautiful downtown Fuquay, Verena, North Carolina...

I'm Bob Future Self Galen.

I'm Josh Anderson.

Elections are held annually for five of ARRL's 15 divisions, with directors and vice directors serving three-year terms.

Bo Lowry, W4FCL, AMSAT Director of the Ambassador Program, is pleased to announce the addition of three new AMSAT ambassadors, Sam Albus, KR4EJD, Jacksonville, Florida, Josh Tate, KF4EAG, Fuquay, Verena, North Carolina, and Joseph Deverde, K0NMR, Fort Collins, Colorado.

AMSAT ambassadors are dedicated volunteers who represent AMSAT at local ham fest, maker fairs, and club meetings.

In their roles, ambassadors agree to attend at least one local event per year and mentor area radio amateurs looking to get started with satellite operations.

Folks are so excited to share something that's happened to them.

I've had so many people in Fuquay who've lived there their entire lives, their families have lived there their entire lives, that they were like, hey, I've never told anybody this story because I didn't want my church to think that I was evil or folks to think that I was crazy, but this happened to us.

And it's really about creating a safe space.

And the more we talk about it, the more normal it becomes and the more safe people feel to share.

Yeah, I will be still on the internet.

I'm doing library shows and performing arts shows across the state for October.

I'm doing my Fuquay Ghost Tours every weekend in October.

I'm doing two bus tours with Holiday Travel, but those are sold out.
