Seth SwerczekHOST
22:59
And, you know, the ballistics team took a look around the industry at what was available.
Seth SwerczekHOST
23:05
And kind of largely at what I think you guys found was you have a legacy, let's say 223 with a 55 grain FMJ.
Seth SwerczekHOST
23:13
Okay, well, if you buy their SBR version, it's the same components and the same powder.
Seth SwerczekHOST
23:20
They just drop the charge weight.
Chris GaitherSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
42:04
I shot through a hamper that he was carrying, and it went...
Chris GaitherSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
42:08
It was a full metal jacket bullet, and it went straight through the bag and hit him in his leg.
Chris GaitherSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
42:12
And he started crying like a little baby.
Chris GaitherSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
42:14
I hope he learned a lesson coming to this house trying to steal stuff.
JDHOST
42:27
[audience cheering] We love this kid.
JDHOST
42:29
This kid's a hero.
JDHOST
42:31
Full Metal Jacket.
JDHOST
42:33
Uh, yeah, he cried...
Seth SwerczekHOST
27:04
Now, Frontier is, uh, you know, a line that we brought back here a number of years ago, and it's really a, a home for a little bit more budget-friendly option that still gives you high performance, still gives you great accuracy, uh, for a variety of different, you know, match shooting, target shooting, plinking, things like that.
Seth SwerczekHOST
27:22
Expanding it now to include the iconic 7.62 by 51 with 150 grain FMJ.
Seth SwerczekHOST
27:29
You gotta have that in the lineup.
Joe ThielenGUEST
27:31
Yeah.
Joe ThielenGUEST
27:36
Gotta have it
Seth SwerczekHOST
27:36
... 1954.
Seth SwerczekHOST
27:38
Uh, and then also a 7.62 by 39 with a 123 grain FMJ.
Seth SwerczekHOST
27:44
Again, also a staple.
Michael MelitoHOST
11:49
I've got quite a bit of it.
Michael MelitoHOST
11:51
I do reload, but this stuff is so good and so affordable, I generally just buy it, whether it's a fifty five grain FMJ or the fifty five grain hollow point match, which I'll use for match shooting and other stuff.
Michael MelitoHOST
12:04
Um, but it's very accurate, very reliable.
Michael MelitoHOST
12:08
Which is, again, why I use it, and it's why I use-- choose it as a control.
Mike McNettGUEST
29:15
We know the solids go all the way through.
Mike McNettGUEST
29:16
Those are real, like real, uh, FMJs from-
Kevin JarnaginHOST
29:19
Yeah
Mike McNettGUEST
29:19
...

26 MINS LATER

Mike McNettGUEST
55:40
... 'cause you're gonna, you're gonna grab the cheapest thing off the shelf to shoot-
Kevin JarnaginHOST
55:43
[laughs] Yeah
Mike McNettGUEST
55:44
... your FMJs and, and, and break some paper.
Kevin JarnaginHOST
55:47
Yeah.
Brad AbramowskiGUEST
31:51
I mean, yes, I can run a 90 grain varmint bullet.
Brad AbramowskiGUEST
31:53
I could run a 120 grain, you know, FMJ, something like that.
Brad AbramowskiGUEST
31:58
I can also go run our new 155 grain fusion tip that is going to... absolutely hang with the mags on a performance window, especially when you start to step it out to range.
Brad AbramowskiGUEST
32:11
And what that fusion tip bullet does, man, that's a sleeper, I think.
Blue the RobotHOST
16:23
You know? But it's, and people were like, "Bro, I haven't even unlocked AP." I'm like, "I'm with you, bro.
Blue the RobotHOST
16:27
I'm still on FMJ." You know? And then seeing, you know, people like, uh, The Tactical Brit take his 1911 of HP rounds and just leg meta everyone.
Blue the RobotHOST
16:40
You know? Literally everyone, just go in there, rat it out, and rat, take, you know, just a pistol kit and kill him and just take a $20,000 kit from someone and just start running that, you know? So it's like, you know, and there's so many things, dude.
Blue the RobotHOST
16:55
The, the artillery spam and people trying to, you know, figure that out and how quick.
Zach EvergreenHOST
12:22
They cause a lot of damage.
JeffGUEST
12:24
If it's a full metal jacket or if it's some sort of soft tip, that's up to debate right there.
Zach EvergreenHOST
12:29
Well, we had a belt-fed gun.
Zach EvergreenHOST
12:33
Which
JeffGUEST
12:34
is most likely full metal jacket.
Zach EvergreenHOST
12:36
Yeah, and we also had either Scorpions.
Zach EvergreenHOST
12:42
There was one Scorpion, and then the rest were using AKs.

14 MINS LATER

Zach EvergreenHOST
27:02
I understand.
JordanHOST
56:55
I didn't like that at all.
DaveHOST
56:57
I mean, to be fair, the base ammo is still just FMJ, so...
DaveHOST
57:01
Yeah.
DaveHOST
57:02
Like, it would bounce, but...
DaveHOST
59:49
And also, when you unlock armor piercing, you can shoot through the glass.
DaveHOST
59:54
Again,
JordanHOST
59:54
SVD, five-round mags, FMJ.
JordanHOST
59:57
I saw the driver was only wearing a level one helmet.
Tyler FreelGUEST
10:30
And they are... a pretty unique bullet.
Tyler FreelGUEST
10:35
They look like, they look like an FMJ with grooves cut, you know, grooves that you'll see in copper bullets cut in them, but they're not, they've got a big cavity inside the tip and the tips are actually pretty fragile, which in heavier recoiling stuff kind of is, is, is, uh, is there's some workarounds to it, but that's kind of the downside to them and smaller stuff, not an issue.
Tyler FreelGUEST
10:56
But, uh, so there's a big cavity behind the tip.
Tyler FreelGUEST
10:59
And when, uh, actually I can grab one right here.
