Fuji music

So the elections are each a few days away, January 2027, and it makes little sense for, um, you know, the leaders, the, the leaders of a very important institution like the National Union of Road Transport Workers to be at loggerhead.

Now, the question you might be asking is how exactly does this, um, involve Musil- um, Kwam 1, you know? So for people who may not know, Kwam 1 is known as Musiu Ainde, um, and he's a Fuji musician, one of the most, uh, widely known in the region.

Fuji is a subset of Yoruba music, and he has this title called Mayegun of Yoruba land.

I don't know what it actually means, but it does mean something.

And in the beginning of my submission, I mentioned the vastness of the patronage networks.

Actually, I left out very, a very important class, the musicians.

Kwam 1 belongs to that, to that category of the musicians who are an extensive arm of the ruling elites and the political party, the APC, in the region.

So I think his involvement, apart from his title, is being somebody who is amenable because if you listen to the tracks that these guys play, the road transport guys play in their, in their vehicles, in their cars and everything, they, they listen to a lot of these Fu- Fuji musicians, Wasiu, uh, Kwam 1, you know, Saheed Osupa and the rest of them.

It is in this season we are seeing pastors bring Fuji Musician.

They introduce someone as an halaji and yet they bring him to church and they are saying, come and bless the people.

You hear their message, there is nothing like Christ in it.
