Well, at that time, when I did that interview with Wired Magazine, I mentioned that from the business perspective, no one was taking the internet serious at that time.

I was quite familiar with the internet by virtue of every year I would go back to the Columbia Engineering School where I was an undergraduate and took a graduate degree as well and give a talk to a senior class about careers, blah, blah, blah.

But I always would have lunch with one of the deans and One of the deans at one year told me that he was leading the university to join a firm called Netscape.

And we talked for several hours about the web that was coming, and he gave me some insights into what could unfold.

Uh, thank you very much for an insightful conversation.

My name's Eddy Mandri with con- Columbia University School of Engineering, originally from Kenya.

[laughs]

Um, uh, Strive Masiyiwa, uh, and NVIDIA are working to address Africa's compute constraints.

Not that many people knew how to work it.

And I just happened to have a four-year degree in computer science from Columbia University School of Engineering.

And afterward, I worked for IBM.

I kept seeing IBM for two years.
