But anyway, right there by those other restaurants is also the stationary restaurant, which is in Union Station, I believe it is.

Yes, Historic Union Station.

But that's hardly the full extent of its cultural life.

It is home to the Frist Art Museum, which opened in 2001 and hosts international touring exhibitions.

It just closed a retrospective of early 20th century surrealism and is currently showing a striking exhibition of indigenous American art.

And Nashville is also home to Artville, a visual art festival returning for its fourth year this weekend.

The other thing I wanted to note is remembering that Marr and Holman were the architects of the Belle Meade Theatre.

They also designed the Melrose Theatre, and their greatest accomplishment was the, uh, downtown post office, which is now the Frist Art Museum.
