Frieze Seoul

Um, the bank is, um, the global lead partner of Frieze and has been for, uh, I think this is the 23rd year.

So, um, it's a really longstanding and ongoing partnership, um, and has grown from obviously Frieze London Masters, uh, well, Frieze London initially in, in the UK, and then, um, it grew into Frieze New York and Frieze LA, um, Frieze Seoul, and this year for the first time, Frieze Abu Dhabi.

Um, and then, and Frieze Masters was also added in as well, um, a number of years ago.

So, um, it's something that we've really kind of, you know, the partnership has developed alongside that as well, um, because we also have an, a couple of projects that we run alongside that, um, and in partnership with Frieze, like the, we have something called the Emerging, um, Curators Fellowship, which is something that, um, we developed with Frieze, where we, um, with the aim to basically give a paid, um, uh, a placement for a, a curator or an emerging curator, um, from diverse backgr- grounds or from global majority backgrounds, um, in a really leading institution in the UK.

The second one was another big group show called "Home and Away," which I did in Seoul, um, at a gallery called Gallery Two.

Collaborated with a friend of mine, Jay Ojem, on that show, and I did it during Frieze Seoul in 2024.

Uh, and then the third one was a solo I did last year Uh, with Chris Huinson-Cam at the Bomb Factory.

Um, and which was a h- a tremendous success, and we loved doing it.
