Frenchay Hospital

Paramedics, including one who was off duty on the day of the shooting, rushed to help him.

He was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and placed in a medically induced coma.

But he'd suffered a catastrophic head injury, and despite all the best efforts of various medical professionals, he continued to decline and tragically died three weeks later in hospital at the age of just 58 with his devastated family at his bedside.

Chudley's ex-girlfriend, Francine Whale, was constantly frustrated that even when she was not living with Chudley anymore, she was living with her daughter and her family, Chudley would not let go.
