But when he was out there, man, like that's why he's beloved in Philly.

Did you ever not see him run a ground ball out? Did you never like he played the game like George Brett to me? Like it was he played with his hairs on fire.

It's a lot of fun, man.

What, what's the dog situation? What kind of dogs do we have?

So I have a Frenchie-

... named Sosa.

Ruby's the first, uh, Frenchie that I've had.

So Frenchies, uh, obviously, have squishy faces, and if they, uh, uh, were to ever get away from you, um, they would have a very difficult time finding their way back because their sense of smell is not as strong as other dogs-

... 'cause their face is squished.

Ruby's the first Frenchie I've known or owned who I don't have to put her on leash.

[laughs] She just trots along behind me, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, like this, and then she's like, "Mom, where are we going? Where are we going?" And it's just like...

But also, inside the house, sometimes when I am, like, moving around the kitchen or doing stuff, she's so underfoot.

Gozer is my sweetheart French bulldog.

He's five years old and he's looking at me right now and doing a little can we play bow, and I will be, um, playing a little bit of fetch with him in a second, um, after we get off this call.

But, um, he is, um, he is my Frenchie.

He is our Frenchie, my, my, my boys and I. Um, he's the most empathetic dog I have ever met.

I've, I've had dogs all my life.

Um, I've interacted with them, um, on many levels.

So breeds that have a shorter muzzle oftentimes those breeds have been selected.

It's not so much the shorter muzzle 'cause you look at things like say Boston Terriers that free whelp frequently and have kind of historically not been classic C-section breeds compared to say a Frenchie might have a little bit more of a width to their chest and a narrowness to their pelvis, which we have basically selected for over the course of a long period of time.

But we have selected that kind of structure in some of these breeds, even things that aren't in those brachycephalic realm, things like Scottish Terriers, very common for breeders to elect for C-sections in that breed because their fronts are wide and their rears are narrow as a general rule, though we're actually not worried about head size, we're worried about shoulder kind of breadth in some of those breeds.

There are other breeds that are just considered high risk.
