Is there one of them where the story of it coming into fruition is something you would say, well, we're really proud of this thing and how it's developed and what are some of the key things that went well in that sense of how you gamified that experience?
11:31
Yeah, so what we're really proud of, I'd say first and foremost, is how we got to even exist as a business.
11:38
It's not like someone just said, we should do this.
11:41
John is a general contractor, and he was actually building a lot of the concrete work and so forth for driving ranges to build cover bays.
11:50
And owners and players came to him and said, man, you know, All the in-bay experience is really cool, like the, you know, with the screens and the experience, the ball dispenser.
12:01
But down the range, it's still a field and we'll put some lights and everything, but it's still a dead space.
12:08
Right.

big rise in golf activity.
2:53
um but you know obviously like that they feel like i've never been to one i know some people that worked at them they feel like they are kind of you know i feel like a golf course is um uh uh you know uh i never got out and i worked there i could have gone out and done some holes but it seemed so intimidating to do it right versus these driving ranges seem to be a little more open and and this really feels like um i hope this isn't uh diminutive but it feels like the the the globe bowling of the sport does that does that feel kind of accurate there
3:23
Yeah, I mean, so golf is an interesting, you know, market in general.
3:28
It's a very accessible sport with a driving range, right? And then, so what we're seeing is you have this whole world of the practice facility, as we used to call them, you know, it's a field of grass next to the 18 hole where you go to warm up and that kind of stuff.
3:44
And now with Topgolf, it's become this venue, right? And in a way, you could almost draw a parallel to bowling, right? This is a place you go to have fun, hang out, have some drinks and some food and hit some balls.
3:55
That's part of the whole experience.
3:58
Between the traditional practice facility and Topgolf, there's an enormous world of ways to go about making the game more fun.
4:10
And that's the role we play into.
