Freddie Jones

Yeah, essentially they've cancelled my show.

And we have something new and different and something brought to you by producer Freddy Freiberger, fresh from his triumph with Star Trek, the original series, season three, featuring things like Spock's brain and We didn't mention the other things Freddie had.

Oh, what else

did he have? Had managed.

Yeah, it's true.

We should note Associate Producer and just noted Frank Sherwin-Green actually was the producer.

He did all the work that Dear Sylvia had been doing for the last one because Freddie really was just main script writer.

Oh.

He was a natural quarterback, but he's playing linebacker that day.

And he makes a tackle against this running back, Freddie Jones, another running back, Wendell Tyler right there.

Doc goes down.

I'm at the practice running the stadium steps that day.

He was very good.

Gwen Watford as Mrs. Packington, as you said, was excellent, and the interplay between her and the excellent Freddie Jones as George Packington really sold the whole thing, the situation and their deteriorating relationship.

But for me, actually, the real standout was a very small part, but what I thought was excellent was the beautician at the spa played by Monica Gray, who added some wonderful amusing asides about dealing with men and things like that.

I thought she was fantastic.

Um, and again, a fantastic production.

It had Judy Parfitt as the Red Queen, um, Freddie Jones as Humpty Dumpty, um, Brenda Bruce as the White Queen.

We had a, a fantastic cast.

Geoffrey Bayldon as the White Knight.

Mm

... for want of a better word, in this film is played by Freddie Jones.

So he initially is playing Professor Richter, who is the doctor who kind of presides over the, um, insane asylum.

Um, and then he is murdered, and his brain gets scooped out and, um, replaced with the brain of, uh, Dr. Frederick Brandt.

Pravda, yep.

Pravda.

George Pravda's, um, uh, Dr. Brandt, his body fails, and the body dies, and so they decide to kill Dr. Richter, scoop his brain out, pop Brandt's brain in it, and then Freddie Jones essentially becomes the creature.

Um, how do you find, uh, Professor Richter, but specifically the creature in this, Kev?
