Gia Corley getting her first goal of the season was such a great sight to see.

She's been a player who has done a great job in this league since making the transition from the Frauen-Bundesliga in Hoffenheim, but hasn't had the goal scoring season this year that we've seen in prior years.

So to see her get on the scoresheet for the first time, hopefully that opens up the floodgates and helps fill the role of Ajodinya and Kat Macario, who are out.

Yes, Italy getting all three of their teams that had the possibility to get through to the league phase, that's very surprising.

So I am curious to see what Frauen Bundesliga season is going to be like this season.

Is it just going to be Bayern running away with it, as we've seen in the past? Match day one starts Friday.

She's not necessarily going to score many goals but actually she creates a lot of chances.
