And we had Fraser T. Smith on the podcast a month or so ago.

And one of the moments I brought up to him, and I remember it so vividly, was seeing Dave perform Black at the Brits.

That was a good run because I was like, I'd been going there since like 1990, no 2000, I did a performance there, did Fill Me In as a TV performance.

And then every year I'd go back for New Year with my guitarist, Fraser T. Smith at the time.

who's gone on to be incredible producers doing like Dave and like he's doing everybody, Stormzy.

And he took time out.

He was like, I can't be a guitarist anymore, Craig.

I need to go in the studio and just learn how to work with Pro Tools and stuff.

And it was just amazing to work with them, and I love how it turned out.

And to your point around six, seven years, when we interviewed Fraser, Fraser T. Smith, he said he worked with Ray in, I think it was like 2014 or on some of her like earliest material and then 10 years later you know she blew up yeah

and she still put the charts yeah so it's

like and that was a 10-year thing for her and the thing that phrase said about ray was like he she was a grafter
