Is he Franklin or is he Bash?

I've never seen Franklin and Bash.

Okay.

I loved, uh, Dead Man on Campus.

We're not giving you that.

We were gonna do a Franklin and Bash show, but it was like just, uh, Perry and Dash.

Perry and Dash.

Oh, I like that.

I was like, "We're not even gonna air it." Like-

I don't think anyone's going to bat for Franklin and Bash.

Yeah, that's what he wanted to promote.

And if I'm wrong-

He wanted to promote Franklin and Bash

... hey.

And the rules are there's rules in this game.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar's done some shows, but he's never been a-

Well, he was in Franklin & Bash.

[laughs]

Yeah.

But Mark-Paul Gosselaar did have Franklin & Bash.

Was he Franklin or, was he Franklin or Bash?

And then he says, and then he was a successful trial attorney who always fought for what was cool.

And I, [laughs] I did find it funny that they used a photo of him from Franklin and Bash.

I thought it was a good joke to be like, he's basically just been a TV lawyer ever since.

want to, I'll bring in optimism in the industry and motivation and inspiration, but I don't know if this is true, but this happened a thousand times and some guests so many times and it's not a reflection on them whatsoever.

With Franklin and Bash, did I hear this correctly, that you were a series regular, then got your potential words downgraded to guest star? Or was that?

It was, yes, when I got the job.

Well, this was, so that, and actually that was interesting because the director of the pilot, Jason Ensler, he was across the street neighbors with my friend Ellie Noss, who we wrote, we did the web series together, Chelsea and Kelsey are really good roommates, that I wrote, that we like, we I was writing that when it was around the time that I was at UCB so I was like with in sketch comedy classes and groups um so we wrote those together and then shot them like with my I had bought I was on a soap opera for a year and with that money I bought a nice camera so we were shooting those and um We had just, like, a group of five or six of them.

But she had shown Jason, her neighbor who was a director, and I hadn't met him yet.

But then I auditioned for Franklin and Bash, and the producers were like, we heard from Jason that you're really funny.

Like, he really wanted us to see you for this.

And I was like,
