So, a, a buddy of mine told me this story, and not sure if it's true or not, but, like, apparently there's some people who believe that the North Pole and South Pole are actually just one g- gigantic mega continent.

I've tried to, just for my own sake, think that you can learn something from anyone, really, even if it is someone that, you know, you don't really think is too smart or something.

Why did you look, uh, directly at Faz-

And he did that in an interview with, uh, German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, as reported by InsideEVs.

He had said, quote, "With the electric 718, we came to the conclusion that we will build the model because it is the best solution economically and will be a fantastic car." End quote.

So all of that is to say the Taycan will have had a pretty good run if, you know, the Ma- the Macan EV outlives it, the Cayenne EV outlives it, and if the 718, the Boxster EV, does come into production and get released here in the US, Taycan will have still had a pretty good run, and Porsche will still be pretty reasonably committed to EVs based on their existing lineup, right? Like, Porsche is not a company that has a lot of models.

These two associations have provincial affiliates with district associations at the bottom.

In a repeat of 1975, the ever-paranoid Mobutu once again purged the top echelons of the military on the pretext that they were planning a coup, with 13 people executed and more than 200 officers from Kasai, Bandundu, and Shaba removed.

Dependent on foreign powers to fight his wars and to save him at the last moment, deus ex machina style, the Shaba conflicts illustrated Mobutu's embarrassing over-reliance on Western armed forces.

The man selected to replace Mobutu and who would lead the column of rebels to Kinshasa was Laurent-Désiré Kabila, a former Congolese guerrilla commander who had for the past decade, in an obscure corner of eastern Zaire, made a living as an ivory and diamond trader.

Um, at this point I want to recommend a very nice article at the Frankfurter Allgemeine.

Um, it is a article written by two scientists from Bavaria, Patrick Glauner and Philipp A. Rauschnabel, both professors in Bavaria, arguing why a ban is the wrong way from a scientific standpoint, which is very interesting.

Um, of course, they are technologically open guys, uh, who think that technology is interesting and, uh, has potential and can help society and stuff like that.
