Frankenstein, MD

Well, sort of speaking of which, I tried to find a Frankenstein adaptation from my youth for us to watch from this episode, and it is Lost Media.

So Frankenstein MD was produced in partnership with Pemberley Digital and PBS Digital Studios.

It's a modern adaptation of the book.

Victor Frankenstein is replaced with Victoria Frankenstein, who is a medical student near graduation.

Here's the plot of Frankenstein MD.

Frankenstein MD is presented as an educational web series presented by medical students and later doctors, Victoria Frankenstein and Iggy DeLacy from the fictional Engel State University.

Each episode generally consists of Frankenstein experimenting with cutting edge medical technologies or theories, often using DeLacy or her childhood friends, Eli Lavenza or Rory Clerval as subjects.

Dr. Abraham Waldman serves as an advisor to Frankenstein, usually acting as a foil and reminding her of the impracticality or perceived impossibility of her experiments or theories.

I love her.

And then the web series produced by my now boss, Hank Green, called Frankenstein MD, which I do want to talk a little bit more about next week.

Oh, I've never even heard of this.

So did you ever

watch the

Lizzie Bennet Diaries? Yes, I've talked about the Lizzie Bennet Diaries to other people, because for a long time I was like, oh my god, did I invent this? And then I realized later, no, the Greens did.

So Frankenstein MD was the same company, same sort of series situation.

Oh, cool.
