Frank the Pug

Yeah.

Especially Frank the Pug, you know, who, um-

Every day

...

They wanna do a nightly fireworks show." [laughs]

[laughs] Good luck.

They've almost been doing fireworks as long as Frank the Pug's been alive, Kenny.

Almost.

But anyways, J then meets up with Men in Black Director Zed, played again by the late, great Rip Torn.

And as the two discuss J's inability to keep a partner, we would also see the return of little Mushu the Pug as Frank the Pug, voiced once again by Tim Blaney.

Famous for also voicing the robot Johnny Five in the 1986 Short Circuit movie and its 1988 sequel.

And because a full seven years has passed since the release of the last Men in Black film, the production had to apply some makeup on the aging Mushu, mostly around his little nose area because there was a lot of gray hairs popping up on that little old man.

And unfortunately, this would be the last movie that Mushu would star as Frank the Pug, as Mushu would sadly pass away from natural causes a little bit before the production of the third Men in Black film in 2012.

Zed eventually caves and gives J permission to work on the famous Ben's Pizzeria case that just popped up, while also warning him how his job as an MIB agent could swallow him up and spit him out whole if he lets it.

And what's particularly funny about that particular statement is how true it is considering how we saw Tommy Lee Jones' Agent K famously volunteer to have himself swallowed by Edgar the Bug before blasting his way out in MIB 1.

Wipe your mouth.
