The WKRP family lost a dear member this last week.

Frank Woodrow Bores Jr., better known as Frank Bonner, passed away on Wednesday, June 16th of 2021.

While we normally don't mention dated events, we felt it was important to recognize the passing of Frank Bonner.

Frank's portrayal of unforgettable sales icon Herb Tarlek was a gift we've all enjoyed as fans.

Although he was probably best known for Herb, Frank had an extensive career as both an actor and director.

In the book America's Favorite Radio Station, Michael Castle reports that Family Affair is the first episode of the show where Herb is back after his fall in the dry bed of Lake Mirage.

We'd like to offer a correction.

This is the first episode where they admit to the accident.

Frank Bonner fell on Sunday, October 14th.

That Friday, October 19th, was the shoot date for Mike Fright.
