And then Saturday, August the 29th, POW Entertainment presented crowning of the champ at the American Legion post in Fox Lake, and we did crown a new champion, and not the way you kind of expected.

Magnus King had to relinquish the POW Midwest Championship due to injury.

leading to a three-way match with Chandler McClure, a recent guest right here on Windy City Slam, continuing his comeback, defeating It's Ya Boy Mason Perks and Axel Rico to win the vacant title.

Until it turned out that allegedly and apparently this Fox Lake police lieutenant, Charles Joseph Glenowitz, who was beloved by the community, killed himself over embezzling $3,000 from the Explorers Fund.

During the time of his investigation, until the time that the press conference came out, Lake County Major Crime Task Force did this massive, massive investigation into him.
