Four Square

They both of them share two big problems.

What they're doing is identifying an easy-looking point at which you cut the thing up between pack and save on the one hand and four square and new world on the other.

Number one, the geographic locations of those supermarkets and those two chains is not necessarily what you want to increase the degree of competitive tension in particular geographic markets because there are markets where pack and save is up against Woolworths and fourth where New World aren't that strong and there are others where New World is the key player against Woolworths and pack and save isn't

there.

The second problem with this is that pack and save is a different beast from your world.

That's why pack and save exists.

because Foodstuffs has found that there is a market advantage to having one bucket shop operator and one slightly higher quality full-service supermarket in the four square at the smaller scale to fill in the niches around provincial and smaller towns.

And the idea that Pack and Save and New World are logical competitors with each other how would competition between those two play out? And here's the point.

We are in, I think about 17 New Worlds, five Pak'n saves, heaps of Fresh Choices.

We're in Farrows, some Four Squares.

We're just going, we're going ham.

We're going everywhere.

Yeah.

Uh, yeah, I reckon, yeah, crossover Farrow with a, with a fancy Four Square.

Yeah.

Okay.

That's, that's crazy.

Cool, though.

I do love a Four Square.

I really do love our Four Square.
