Fountain Square, Cincinnati

I don't have a number off the top of my head, but I feel like they've been adding restaurants and sort of that new architectural form factor with the flat sides you see everywhere.

But then you have, and then this one right there.

And I remember talking to the guys from Sunflower, which I did maybe a year ago when they got the historic tax credit that's financing a lot of the project or some of the project, I guess.

One of the reasons I wanted to move ahead with this is because of the amount of momentum happening right in that Garfield Place corridor, because it bridges over the Rhine and Court Street Plaza with Fountain Square and 4th Street in an important way, and 3CDC views it as a really important stepping stone for the city.

Yeah, I think that's a really big thing to remember here is that while we've seen so much development, $2.5, $3 billion worth of development in the urban core as of late, there are still pockets that haven't been touched in terms of that redevelopment of an older building, a historic building like this one.

The team will not be seen at all at the airport.

The Reds will go directly to Fountain Square, where a welcome home ceremony is planned.

There will be a band on the square shortly after the game if the Reds win this game.

Fans are invited to head downtown and join the fun.

The Reds will probably get downtown about 2 or 2.30 in the morning.

So again, we'll remind you that if you want to greet the Reds when they return home, if we clinch this league championship series tonight, there will be a welcome home ceremony at Fountain Square sometime after 2 o'clock.

And again, we will urge you to avoid the airport and join the fun on Fountain Square as the Reds will not even come into the terminal.

And the only way you could get it at the time was to go down to a kiosk in Cincinnati back when it was great to go downtown Cincinnati and go to Fountain Square and enjoy the city of Cincinnati.

And that has been deprived, has been taken away from us and preceding generations.

And to me, that is criminal.

And My children were just shocked.

All these people standing around not knowing what's going on.

Anyway, fast forward a couple days later, I hear about an interfaith prayer service that's going to happen on Fountain Square that following Friday, the 14th of September.

And so I thought, well, that would be a good opportunity to maybe raise some funds for the Red Cross.

Oh.

And then in our logo, it's the, the woman from the fountain that's in Fountain Square, if you look.

Mm.

And then underneath that, there's a hidden crown.
