Fortune favours the bold

The Fables of Bidpai by Anonymous, translated by Abdullah Ibn Al-Muqaffa and Joseph Harris.

Chapter one, Fortune Favors the Bold.

The story of Dabshalim and Bilpa.

On the banks of Indus, towards the seacoast and over a vast extent of country thereabouts, there reigned a prince whose ministers, persons of justice, wisdom, and understanding, by their counsels rendered the subjects happy and always successfully brought to pass the just designs of the sovereign.

Let me say it right.

Audentis Fortuna Iuvat, which is Latin for "fortune favors the bold." That's how we came up with those initials.

Ah, okay.

I like that.

That's what AFI Strategic Partners does.

And my last piece, what I'll close with, it is AFI is Latin, and I'm not so pretentious that I speak to all my clients in Latin, but it's audentis fortuna iuvat, which means fortune favors the bold.

I love that saying.

"Be bold" is our tagline in many cases.
