Noblesville Boom

But just really excited about that new content.

Going to have a whole entire segment dedicated to the Noblesville boom.

Their draft is taking place on Saturday afternoon, so you'll get to hear a little bit more from Chris Taylor, their GM, in our conversation talking about that.

So just a lot of unique things trying to put out content-wise for Pacer fans.

You can't replace what he brings to the court every night, and with how the roster is currently constructed, there are no point guards behind him that you feel strong about.

Braden Smith will be with the Noblesville Boom developing, and Quinton Jackson is more of a shooting guard than a floor general.

Indiana would have to lean heavier into Nembhard at the backup point guard spot while starting him next to Halliburton.

If a veteran point guard became available to sign or trade for, Indiana should be monitoring this closely.

And so can Kobe Brown get in there and mix it up and contribute for you this first week if needed? Or is Jalen Slauson the guy that maybe Rick Carlisle goes to? That's something I'm really going to be watching.

And it'd be great for the new staff of the Noblesville Boom to have those two-way guys available.

But I kind of feel like, at least early in this season, they're going to be called upon maybe for Pacers duty to until uh everybody gets fully healthy and maybe not play as many games with the boom yeah yeah

and

They signed with the Pacers.

The press release literally said that those two plus Jalen Worley and Kowatsi Reeves signed Exhibit 10 contracts with the Noblesville Boom.

The intent was always that those two were going to end up in Noblesville, but they came to camp defensively.

Both of them had lots of considerations for actually being the players that got to come to camp, unlike other Exhibit 10 signees that are not really worth getting into.

Where does he rank on that list for you? The

ex-Mad Ant slash Boom guy that I think is going to end up being good.

Yeah, he's not in the, like, O'Shea's higher than him.

Edmund Sumner would be higher than him.

It was an upgrade, so of course Rick Carlisle gave him his blessing, and then the Pacers worked quickly to replace Johnny Carpenter.

And so they did with Bryce Taylor, the No-new Noblesville Boom coach, to be the head coach there at Summer League.

And, and Taylor's been around the program for, like, four years.

He was an intern, then he coached overseas, I wanna say, in Germany.

Came back, then was an assistant coach for three years under Taylor-- uh, not Taylor.

For Tom Hankins with the Noblesville Boom.

And, uh, so it'll be cool for Johnny Carpenter to be back here.

I talked with him at Summer League.

We have an NBA basketball team.

Uh, the Noblesville Boom is the G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers.

Home now to Braden Smith, a product of Purdue, uh, will be playing for the Boom this coming season.

Uh, we have Morris Reservoir.

The Fever could be hosting the Dallas Wings on Sunday, depending on games that happen in the next two days.

If that happens, uh, Fan Jam would be at the Noblesville Boom's arena, the arena at Innovation Mile.

If not, it will be in Gamebridge if they are either eliminated or playing the Valkyries in San Fran.

And that is your week one of training camp updates.
